The 2023 Alum Creek/Kinslow Disc golf tournament to benefit The PHX Fund for Adapted Technology was a huge success and the 3nd PDGA sanctioned event benefiting the fund. Please join us in 2024 to raises funds to purchase adapted tools, programs, and devices for children with physical limitations. These items will be used in the classroom to improve communication, create socialization opportunities, aid in the learning process, and allow the children to have fun while gaining skills they would not be able to obtain without the use of adapted technology. There will be a raffle for items donated by local vendors! Join us at the Player’s Course at Alum Creek starting at noon if you would like to participate in the raffle. The raffle drawing will happen immediately after the 2nd round of tournament concludes. You can go to the event page if you would like to be a sponsor or email info@thephxfund.org. Sponsors for the event receive recognition in the caddy book distributed to all competitors. We are thankful to the community for helping us offer another event in 2024. Players will be getting a chance to compete, receive custom made event packs, and help youth in their community have access to tools they need to learn and grow. The 2023 tournament was a tremendous and exciting event and we hope to make it even better in 2024! We know Pheonix smiles every time a disc hit the chains.
